Keeping Sister Sarah’s Dream Alive

Portrait of Sister Sarah Mulligan, S.C.

Dear Mission Partners Guatemala Family,

In 2025, we grieved the passing of our visionary co-founder, Sister Sarah Mulligan, S.C. Her decades of tireless devotion, faith, and love built the foundation of MPG. While we miss her dearly, we are resolute in our determination to keep her dream alive.

Before her retirement in 2021, Sister Sarah spent years training Luisa Urizar to oversee the administration of the Daniel Comboni Clinic in Guatemala. Thanks to Luisa’s exceptional leadership and Sister Sarah’s strong legacy, our work continues without pause.
